The Union will be hosting a ZOOM MEETING on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 (7pm) to discuss the current impact COVID-19 has been having in the Laredo Sector AOR. 

This ZOOM MEETING is for ALL Border Patrol Agents and Support Personnel of the Laredo Sector, including Supervisory Border Patrol Agents, Watch Commanders and Upper Management.

Over the course of the past week, the Laredo Sector has seen a noticeable increase in the number of employees testing positive for COVID-19.   Also, the Border Patrol has seen an alarming increase in the amount of detainees testing positive for COVID-19. 

During this meeting, Clear Choice ER CEO Robert Castaneda will be speaking about facts related to COVID-19 in the Laredo community and the negative impact it is having in our community.  Mr. Castaneda will be providing information on the COVID-19 DELTA VARIANT and how it is impacting people that have received the COVID-19 vaccine.

Laredo Sector Chief Patrol Agent Matthew Hudak will be speaking on the impact COVID-19 is having on the Border Patrol workforce and its operations.
