Overtime Transition Plan has been 10-3’d
Local 2455 Members
The National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) has been notified by the Office of Border Patrol (OBP) HQ that the Overtime Transition Plan (OTP) will not be implemented and AUO will remain the compensation method for BP Agents who are currently earning AUO.
The Alternate Work Schedule (AWS) will NOT be implemented for those employees earning AUO; however, those agents not earning AUO and who are currently earning FEPA due to sector assignments, will be scheduled overtime in accordance to the election selected (level 1, level 2 and basic).
OBP is also encouraging sectors to transition to the 6a, 2p, 10p schedules, unless operational flexibilities prevent such a change.
Local 2455 will be establishing communication with Laredo Sector Management in hopes of establishing the schedules mentioned above.
More information will be put out as it becomes available.
Thank You and Stay Safe,
Hector Garza President Local 2455
