Rep. Hill serves on the The House Committee on Financial Services and two of its subcommittees: the Subcommittee on Capital Markets and Government Sponsored Enterprises and the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations.

Some of the Border Security issues discussed today included:

Technology Challenges

Infrastructure Challenges

Prosecutorial Thresholds

Assaults on Border Patrol Agents

Manipulated Border Patrol statistics on apprehensions, got aways, turn backs, etc.

BP Agents outstanding work

Smuggling trends

We would like to thank both Congressmen for taking the time to listen to the concerns from those that protect our nations borders.

Local 2455 will continue to reach out to our representatives in congress in order to get the much needed support for Border Patrol Agents.
