Local 2455 Members,

The National Border Patrol Council, Local 2455 in partnership with Laredo Sector Command Staff have received COVID-19 Vaccine (Moderna) vouchers available to Rank & File Border Patrol Agents and Support Staff. 

Laredo Sector BP Agents and Support Staff who have not received the vaccine and are interested in receiving the vaccine should sign up via the link below with their personal cell phone and personal email address.

The deadline to sign up for the vaccine vouchers will be April 8, 2021, 4 p.m.  

Vaccine voucher selections will be made April 9, 2021.  

Those selected will be contacted so that they may pick up their voucher from the Laredo Sector office between April 9, 2021 – April 13, 2021. An indiscriminate computer system will be used to randomly select Agents and/or support staff for vaccine voucher distribution.  

The vaccine voucher is to be used on April 16, 2021 at Doctors Hospital of Laredo.  Hours of operation will be from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.  The time of appointment will be printed on the voucher.

Those who sign up will have to ensure that they are available on April 16, 2021 to have the vaccine administered by medical professionals.  Those who receive the vaccine will need to follow up 28 days later for the second vaccine dose.  

Laredo Sector Agents and support staff are reminded that duty time may be used or up to 4 hours of administrative leave may be granted to get the COVID-19 vaccine.  Up to 2 days of administrative leave may be granted following receipt of the vaccine due to significant adverse symptoms, such that Agents/Support Staff cannot perform their assigned duties.
