We are grateful the United States Border Patrol will have Chief Jason Owens at the helm. Chief Owens has twenty-seven years of experience and is finely skilled in Law Enforcement, Intelligence Operations, Management, Strategic Leadership, and Counterterrorism.

These experiences will be an asset to the U.S. Border Patrol as he takes on the highest rank to lead the Agency.

Chief Owens has leadership roots in the Laredo Sector as Acting Chief Patrol Agent, Deputy Chief Patrol Agent, which gives him a profound first-hand knowledge of the Laredo Sector Area of Operations.

The National Border Patrol Council Local 2455 looks forward to continuing to work closely with Chief Owens.
