Over the past two days, U.S. Border Patrol Chief Mike Banks visited the Laredo Sector, making stops at various stations and key work sites—including the I-35 checkpoint. During his visit, Chief Banks attended two musters, where he connected directly with rank-and-file agents.

Agents welcomed the opportunity to speak with the Chief and engage in meaningful discussions about infrastructure, technology, and broader border security operations.

Chief Banks also met privately with NBPC Local 2455 leadership to continue important conversations on border security priorities and workforce support.
