Local 2455 is the exclusive representative of all non-supervisory Border Patrol Agents and Support Staff within the Laredo Border Patrol Sector. Local 2455 is affiliated with the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) and an affiliate Local of the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC).

We represent our members in regard to bargaining issues, disciplinary and adverse actions, legislative action, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Office of Workers Compensation (OWCP), Health, Safety and numerous other issues. We are comprised of over 1200 members from throughout the Laredo Border Patrol Sector.

The Executive Board is comprised of 8 dedicated members, who are nominated and elected by our membership for two-year terms. Our current board members oversee the stations and office locations throughout the Laredo Border Patrol Sector with the help of over 60 hard-working and dedicated Union Stewards.

We have a commitment to our members to provide representation to the best of our abilities. We also provide legal representation for administrative and criminal issues, via the Union’s Legal Service Plan and via PORAC’s Legal Defense Fund.
