Last week, former U.S. Border Patrol Chief Rodney Scott visited the Laredo Sector for a tour of the border while awaiting Senate confirmation as the next Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

During his visit, NBPC Local 2455 Executive Board members joined Chief Scott for a horseback patrol along the U.S.-Mexico riverbanks. Chief Scott also took the opportunity to speak directly with frontline agents, expressing his appreciation for their dedication and hard work.

We’re proud to share that while in Laredo, Rodney Scott was officially confirmed by the U.S. Senate as CBP Commissioner.
