Were you out of town when the 5% retention incentive contract was due?
Local 2455 Members,
If you qualified for the 5% retention incentive and you were not able to sign the retention incentive contract, then this message is for you. The union has been working with the agency to address those employees who were on leave or otherwise unable to sign the 5% retention incentive when it was due this past summer.
CBP HRM said that if you didn’t sign that week, you cannot participate – no exceptions. However, OBP Headquarters has now asked us to try to track down any employee who this applies to so we can forward their names to them. We do not yet know how this matter will be addressed by OBP HQ, we only know that the agency is looking for a solution.
If you were not qualified to participate, you still cannot sign up.
But if you were qualified and just couldn’t fill out the form on time, send the following information to Executive Board Member Sergio Buriano at sergio.buriano331@gmail.com
1) Name,
2) EOD
3) Duty Station
4) The reason you couldn’t sign the form to
Thank you for your continued support!
Stay safe,
Hector Garza, President
